The Sunflower Award at MCHHS
The Sunflower Award was created to recognize clinical staff who go above and beyond in their performance in providing exceptional care. Sunflower Award nominees consistently display skill, compassion, kindness, dedication and enthusiasm – exemplifying the kind of person that our patients, their families and our staff recognize as an outstanding role model. We are proud to announce that our Sunflower Award Honoree is Amy Eilert, RT(R)(M)(CT), RDCS(AE). Her nomination stated, “Amy is a great co-worker to have on your team. If I’m ever needing to switch shifts or call days, she’s always the one to say yes! In addition to her own call days there are countless times she has come in on her night off to help with a patient or for a sono. She is the quiet help in the department, fixing reports or helping with the HL7 interface. The silent helpers are often the ones who get missed and I want to make sure she is recognized!”
We would like to recognize the other employees nominated for The Sunflower Award during this period. Nominees were Kim Budke, Occupational Therapist; Kait Crumbaker, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant; Kristina Davidson, CNA; Danielle Payton, RCC Activity Director; Jason Livesay, Respiratory Therapist; Janet Dameron-Gengler, Respiratory Therapist; Lauren Durham, Discharge Planner; and Robert Hollerich, Medical Laboratory Scientist.
Employees may be nominated by providers, patients, family / visitors, volunteers and MCHHS employees. Online nominations can be made at www.mchks.com/EmployeeRecognitionAwards. Awards are presented twice a year.
Darren True, MCHHS Chief Ancillary Officer states, "Amy is a very deserving recipient of the Sunflower award. She is an outstanding team member, who provides wonderful care and service for our patients and customers."
