BRENDA CORNETT RECEIVES THE ASPEN AWARD AT MCHHS
The Aspen Award was created to recognize the outstanding individuals working behind the scenes in our support service departments who go above and beyond in their roles at MCHHS. Aspen Award nominees consistently displays teamwork and excellent interactions with staff, patients and visitors. We are proud to announce that our Aspen Award Honoree is Brenda Cornett, Environmental Services. Her nomination stated, “Brenda goes above and beyond when cleaning her assigned areas. She always is positive and friendly when met in the hallways. She picks up on things that need to be changed or painted and always does it with a smile. Despite the early hours she works, she always has a kind word or compliment for others. She has a great spirit for her job and often has scrubs for all the different seasons and holidays. Her positivity is always welcomed and spreads. She is very deserving of this award.”We would like to recognize the other employees nominated for The Aspen Award during this period. Nominees were Dustin Dougherty, Plant Operations; Kim Johnson, Dietary; Shane Olson, Business Office; Joyce Hartsock, Patient Registration; Michelle Drum, Materials Management; Kelly Schmidt, Environmental Services; and Amy LeDuc, Utilization Review.
Employees may be nominated by providers, patients, family / visitors, volunteers and MCHHS employees. Awards are presented twice a year.
