At Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems, we're dedicated to overcoming your fears regarding emergency visits with our professional, experienced and compassionate staff. Our Certified Level IV Trauma Center designated in March of 2012 and was one of the first in Kansas. Our Emergency Room is staffed 24 hours a day with Registered Nurses that are certified with specialized training in trauma, burns and other rural emergencies. We have 2 trauma/cardiac rooms with specialized equipment for these emergencies. Our department sees approximately 3000 emergency patients per year.
Our emergency room department also takes care of Outpatient infusion therapies and specialized procedures. We have 3 bays that are utilized for outpatient care, seeing approximately 3000 patients a year.
