Patient Registration Clerk for Surgical Clinic
Position Summary
Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems is seeking a full-time Patient Registration Clerk to join our Surgical Clinic. This role is responsible for obtaining accurate patient identification, demographics, and financial information to ensure a smooth registration process. Key responsibilities include registering patients and scheduling appointments; greeting and checking in patients professionally; monitoring, maintaining, and verifying patient information with accuracy and consistency; ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality; and assisting the registration department as needed. Must have strong computer and communication skills, maintain a professional image, and be committed to providing excellent customer service to patients and families. Qualifications
●High School graduate or its equivalent
●Computer operator skills is required
●Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
