Facilities Maintenance Worker - Plant Operations
Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Worker. This role involves completion of maintenance requests and preventive maintenance to resolve and prevent building systems problems. Routine maintenance and repairs include but are not limited to areas such as plumbing, boiler maintenance, plastering, electrical work, carpentry, mechanics, and groundskeeping. Plant Operations communicates effectively with internal and external teams to make repairs and deliver correct status updates. This position requires "On Call" availability and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Two years of experience in maintenance trades such as plumbing, electricity and/or carpentry with experience in hospital/healthcare environment preferred. Qualifications:
High school graduate or its equivalency, plus education and experience in mechanical engineering - electricity, plumbing, refrigeration carpentry, grounds care, operation of and repair of boilers and air conditioners.
